Microsoft is hoping to get film-lovers flocking to the Windows Store by offering big savings on movies this week.
Today, the company announced that it is offering around a third off the regular price of many titles in its Blockbuster Movie Sale - and many of the discounts on offer extend to some of the latest releases available on the store.
While the promotional site for the sale suggests that the maximum discount available is 40% off 'franchise favorites' - including Transformers, The Hunger Games and Die Hard , among others - some movies are available with even bigger savings.
Mad Max: Fury Road, for example, is usually priced at $19.99 to buy in high-definition, and $14.99 in standard definition; but the HD version is now just $8.99 (55% off), while the SD release is $7.99 (46% off).
The full list of movies in the Blockbuster Movie Sale is available here - but be aware that the sale will end on June 20.
