A few weeks ago, Microsoft added a new model of the 15-inch Surface Book 2 that includes an Intel Core i5-8350U, 16GB RAM, a 256GB SSD, and no dedicated GPU. This lower-end model lowered the barrier of entry for the product from $2,499 to $1,999.
As is often the case, Microsoft is running some deals on its Surface products, and you can get a 15-inch Surface Book 2 for a serious discount. Most notably, you can get the new base model of the 15-inch variant for $1,799, the lowest price ever for a 15-inch Surface Book 2. Here's the full breakdown of sales prices.

But that's not all, as the Surface Pro 6 is also seeing some discounts. The base model with a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD is still $899, but the rest of them are all $200 off. That means that you can get a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD for just a hundred dollars more, rather than three hundred dollars more.
