For 107 out of 135 days of retail - between March 19 and July 31 - Microsoft sold the Band 2 with 30% off its 'regular' price, frequently discounting it by $75 to $174.99. It referred to these periods as 'special offers' - but when the wearable device was being sold for 80% of the time with a hefty price reduction, those deals started to seem a lot less special.
After that, Microsoft managed to go an entire month without discounting the Band 2 even once - but now, the deal has returned.
If you visit the Microsoft Store today, you'll find that the Band 2 has yet again got 30% off its full $249.99 price. This isn't exactly a blink-and-you'll-miss-it deal either; it will remain available at $174.99 for the next six weeks, until the offer eventually ends on October 16.
But if you look beyond the Microsoft Store, you should be able to find the Band 2 for even less. Amazon, for example, is currently selling the small version for around $155, and the medium for $158.
