Microsoft latest - and perhaps greatest - Windows 10 Insider Preview, build 15002, is now rolling out to PCs in the Fast ring. It's the company's first build of the new year, and brings a huge range of new features, including enhancements to the Edge browser, and new Settings options, such as Theme Management and blue light adjustment.
Make no mistake - build 15002 is a major update for Windows Insiders, and it's likely to be the last build to deliver such a variety of new features on a similar scale before the Windows 10 Creators Update is officially released in April. But the sheer number of changes, additions and improvements in the new build means that there's plenty of stuff that needs to be tested - and many Insiders will be keen to do so with a fresh install of the new build on their systems.
However, Microsoft isn't making the ISOs for build 15002 available immediately - in its blog post today, the company said that it will make the new ISOs available "in the next week".
The last ISOs that Microsoft released for Windows Insiders were for build 14986, shortly before Christmas. An obvious, if more time-consuming, solution in the meantime for those awaiting the new ISOs for the latest build is to install from the build 14986 ISOs, and upgrade to build 15002 from there. Before installing the latest build, though, make sure that you read Microsoft's list of improvements and known issues.
Last week, Microsoft launched a new Windows Insider community blog, and promised to offer greater transparency and new insights into its Windows 10 development process.
