Microsoft has launched the official page for Windows Codenamed Longhorn at the Windows Section of its website. So far, the section contains 'visionary statements' and a list of reaons why Longhorn will be better than any Windows version before it. The page is somewhat similar to the Windows XP drive in the summer of 2001, shortly before it was launched in October 2001.
An excerpt from the 'Longhorn Vision' page sums it up pretty well. "Longhorn is a powerful new version of Windows that gives people what they've told us they want: a more powerful, more reliable, and more secure experience that makes it possible for them to use their computers more confidently and effectively, connect with others, and have fun."
