Microsoft has unveiled the new Xbox Series S - Fortnite & Rocket League bundle. The bundle is available today in North America and in December in all other markets supported by Xbox.com as well as participating retailers. The bundle will set you back $299 and there’s an option to add Xbox All Access for $24.99 per month.
Those who decide to pick up the new bundle will also receive the Midnight Drive Pack, 1,000 Fortnite V-bucks, and 1,000 Rocket League Credits. In Fortnite, the Midnight Drive Pack unlocks the Dark Skully outfit, Dark Skully Satchel Back Bling, Dark Splitter pickaxe, and 1,000 V-Bucks to get more items or the latest Battle Pass. In Rocket League, it unlocks the Purple Masamune Car, Purple Virtual Wave Boost, Purple Zefram heels, and 1,000 Rocket League Credits that can be used to build Blueprints, upgrade to Rocket Pass Premium, or purchase items in the Rocket League Item Shop.
According to Microsoft, both Fortnite and Rocket League are optimised for lightning-fast load times and framerates up to 120fps. As both are free to play games, as long as you have a free Xbox Live account, you can get straight into playing.
To celebrate the launch of the bundle, Microsoft decided to partner with TikTok personality Khaby Lame for a new campaign. Lame is known for reacting to complicated life hack with straightforward solutions; in this same style he attempts to show that faster load times, high framerates and Quick Resume are as simple as turning on the Xbox Series S.
