Microsoft's Lumia 435 is now up for pre-order on Amazon's UK website with an expected release date of March 1.
Last month, Microsoft launched two entry-level Windows Phone 8.1-based smartphones, the Lumia 435 and Lumia 532. Both devices fall in the sub-$100 category and will be launched in parts of Europe, Middle East, India, Asia-Pacific and Africa in the coming weeks.
Although, the official UK availability of the Lumia 435 hasn't been revealed by Microsoft or any carriers, Amazon has started taking pre-orders for the device for £88.49. The shipping date hasn't been mentioned but the expected release date is listed as March 1 on the website.
The Amazon pricing is quite high for a device which is being given for free in Italy with a Lumia 535 that costs 110 euros.
The entry-level smartphone has a decent feature set for its price and that includes a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, MicroSD card slot, 4-inch screen with WVGA resolution and basic connectivity options such as 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth.
