It's becoming increasingly rare these days to see Microsoft selling its Surface devices in the US without some sort of deal to entice buyers. This month, the company was offering a free Surface Dock, worth $199.99, with every Surface Pro 4 model, in a deal that ended on Saturday, April 22.
As soon as that offer ended, Microsoft launched another one; this time, cutting up to $150 off select models in the Surface Pro 4 range:
- Intel Core m3 / 4GB RAM / 128GB SSD (no Pen) | usually $799 | now $749 | save $50 (6%)
- Intel Core i5 / 4GB RAM / 128GB SSD | usually $999 | now $849 | save $150 (21%)
- Intel Core i7 / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD | usually $1,499 | now $1,349 | save $150 (10%)
- Intel Core i7 / 16GB RAM / 256GB SSD | usually $1,699 | now $1,549 | save $150 (9%)
If you're thinking of buying one of these discounted devices, you've got plenty of time to consider your purchase; the deal will remain available until May 13. You might want to hold off on placing that order though - Microsoft is expected to unveil its new Surface Pro 5 in the not-too-distant future, although it's believed that the new device will be a modest evolution of its predecessor.
