Microsoft has finally unveiled its latest handset in the form of the Lumia 535. The new entry level handset will sport a large 5" display and surprisingly have an impressive 5MP front-facing camera.
As reported earlier, the Lumia 535 will have a 5" qHD (960 x 540) IPS LCD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage with microSD expansion, be powered by a 1905mAh battery, have a 5MP rear camera with flash, and a wide-angle 5MP front-facing camera. The resolution of the video for both the front and rear camera will be FWVGA (848 x 480). The device will not offer a camera shutter button or 4G / LTE option.
The Lumia 535 will be available in a single and dual SIM model. The handset will be available in six different colors and retail for €110 or around $136 USD. The Lumia 535 should see a release primarily focused outside of the United States in November.
Although other handsets have not been confirmed, Microsoft is expected to announce more handsets at its Lumia event later today.
