A few days ago, Amazon began pre-orders for Microsoft’s Surface Go, now the Redmond-based firm itself has begun selling the device directly from its site too. The device can be picked up from $399 and is available for those in the U.S. and Canada, while those in additional markets will be able to place their order later this month.
Microsoft has two models of the Surface Go on sale, the 64GB / Intel 4415Y/ 4GB RAM edition for $399, and the 128GB / Intel 4415Y / 8GB RAM edition for $549. Once you’ve added your selection to the cart, you’ll have the option to add Office 365 Home with a $20 discount to your cart, and include the Surface Go Signature Type keyboard in Burgundy, Platinum, Cobalt Blue, or Black. The keyboards will all cost an additional $129.99, except the black one which sells for $99.99.
Aside from buying from the Microsoft Store, the device is now also available in stores such as Best Buy, local retailers, and through Microsoft’s reseller partner network, giving you a choice about where to make the purchase.
If you buy any new hardware, let us know in the comments what you snap up.
