Today, Microsoft released new firmware and driver updates for its Surface Book and Pro 4 devices. While the Pro 4 has been receiving updates regularly, it's worth noting that the Surface Book hasn't seen an update in almost six months.
In fact, it used to be standard for both devices to get updates at the same time, but that trend ended when the Surface Pro 4 kept receiving updates but the Book didn't. The updates are for devices running any version of Windows 10.
Here's what's new for the Surface Book:

The main reason that updates for the Pro 4 and Book would show up parallel to each other is that they both have very similar hardware, including Intel's sixth-generation 'Skylake' chips.
As always, you can grab these via Windows Update. You can also manually download them, with the Surface Pro 4 bundle available here, and the Surface Book bundle here.
