Microsoft has released two new commercials for its recently released Xbox One console, one showcasing a positive response from critics and the other promoting "Ryse: Son of Rome."
The first video, seen above, is actually an edit of the first commercial for Xbox One, "Invitation," which was released on Oct. 25. That commercial showcased several of the big-name games for the console with live-action characters inviting people to play their respective games. The "Said it Best" spot uses that footage spliced with critical praise as well as a tweet from a fan.
Microsoft's second new Xbox One commercial, seen below, is called "Immersive Gaming" and touts the graphical prowess of the Crytek-developed exclusive game "Ryse: Son of Rome." The game is easily the best-looking title currently available on the new console, though the aggregate critical response is fairly mediocre, receiving mixed reviews on Metacritic.
A week ago, Microsoft announced it surpassed 3 million Xbox One consoles sold as of Dec. 31, though specific December sales figures for the U.S. should be released from the NPD Group sometime soon. Most major online retailers have seen replenished stock of the console since the holidays, but Microsoft has said it's quickly selling out of all the consoles it's shipping.
