Microsoft is pushing out a new update for build 10074 of its Windows 10 Insider Preview, and the new Windows Server Technical Preview that it launched this week. The update rollup is being pushed out now via Windows Update.
Don't get too excited about new features in this latest release - it's a bug-fixing update only, which should address the following issues:
- Project Spartan crashes when attempting to open it on some devices.
- The Start menu appears when features of the work area, such as the screen resolution, DPI setting, or screen rotation, are changed. This can occur when running apps, such as games, that open in full-screen. These apps then crash when pressing the Alt+Tab keys.
Once you've installed the update, you'll need to restart your device.
Be sure to let us know in the comments below how you get on with installing it, and if it fixes those issues (or if it creates any new ones!).
