Microsoft SMS 2003 beta starting soon

Thanks Bink for this one.. Help evaluate the next version by participating in the Systems Management Server 2003 Open Beta Program. To apply, log on using SMSInvite as your ID and SMS2003 as your password. Take the eligibility survey on the page that follows. If approved, you will get a welcome e-mail from MS Beta, which will contain your beta ID and password for the BetaPlace Web site and newsgroups. Please note that the approval process takes approximately two weeks.

For SMS 2.0 users, learn about the soon to be released feature packs

Using the tools included in the Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2.0 Feature Packs, system administrators can select and import the latest Windows and Office patches, updates, and service packs directly from Microsoft for distribution using Systems Management Server. They can also use Feature Pack tools to copy the settings from a source SMS site to one or more target sites.

Included in the Feature Packs are tools for gathering information on the status of patches and service packs for Windows throughout an entire corporate enterprise; managing accounts and passwords in use by one or more SMS sites; and generating Web-enabled reports
