The big 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520 was officially announced a couple of weeks ago at the Nokia World event, but the company left out two important bits of information at that time about the smartphone; when it would be released in the U.S. and how much it would cost. Nokia still hasn't offered up that info but a page on the Microsoft Store site now has revealed both bullet points.
The page is now taking pre-orders for the 1520, showing that it will be released on November 15th in the U.S. for the price of $199 with a new two year contract under AT&T. If the phone is bought without a contract, the price goes up to $549.
Just a reminder: here are some of the specs behind the Lumia 1520:
- 6 inch full HD 1080p LCD display
- PureView 20 megapixel rear camera
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor set at 2.2GHz
- 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage with microSD slot
- Colors: Yellow, white, black, glossy red
There's still no official word on when the 10.1 inch Lumia 2520 tablet, also announced at Nokia World, would be released but it is also scheduled to be a timed AT&T exclusive before also going on sale via Verizon Wireless.
