Microsoft To-Do updated on Windows 10 with pinnable lists

Microsoft is updating its To-Do app on Windows 10 today to version 1.48.2102.0, adding a number of new features. Most notably, it now supports Live Tiles, something that Insiders have been testing for some time.

To pin a list to your Start Menu, you can just right-click (touch and hold on a touchscreen) on it and select 'Pin to Start'. A regular-sized tile will show the first three items on the list, as well as if those items have been completed or not. A large tile shows seven items. Obviously, clicking on the Live Tile will launch that list in Microsoft To-Do.

Here's the full changelog (via WindowsBlogItalia):

  • Pinnable lists like Live Tile - Can not you see just one list on Live Tile? We have good news for you! Now you can pin every list or smart list to the Windows Start menu.

  • Do you have too many late activities that you do not really want to think about today? We have improved accessibility to allow the various groups to be compressed and expanded into smart lists.

  • We have temporarily removed the ability to move a list activity when you search. Now we are restoring it.

  • Improve the new Windows Ink gesture. More information in the dedicated article .

  • Fixed a bug related to the display of the order of the lists.

  • Bug fixes and performance improvements.
