Microsoft announced today that it's going to be holding a virtual launch event for Visual Studio 2019, the next major version of its popular IDE. Currently, VS 2019 is on its third preview, which was released just yesterday.
The event will take place on April 2 at 9AM PT, and Microsoft will announce availability details of the new product. The keynote will be by Scott Hanselman, where he'll be talking about all of the things that are new in the release. After that, there will be live-streamed sessions with deep dives into the new features.
The company also said that it wants to work with community organizers so they can hold live, in-person events for the product, and Microsoft will even provide the swag (as long as you let them know by March 1). Community organizers can hold their event any time between April 2 - to coincide with the virtual event -, and the end of June.
You can head over to Microsoft's event page for more details, or to sign up for more information.
