After recently increasing the prices of its Surface Books by up to £400, and those of the Surface Pro 4 by up to 12% - due to the weakened pound sterling against the US dollar - Microsoft softened the blow by introducing a "limited time offer" that was due to end on March 1, providing free insurance and Office 365 to buyers of either device.
It quietly extended that offer until March 15, and now, it's extended it again - but it's also added to it by including further discounts on the devices themselves.
As before, the deal gives Surface buyers a one-year Office 365 Home subscription worth £79.99; plus two years of Microsoft Complete protection, worth £149 on the Pro 4, and £219 on the Book. The key features of Microsoft Complete are explained below:

Remember that if you want the Type Cover keyboard for the Surface Pro 4, you'll have to purchase it separately. It's now priced at £124.99, having increased from £109.99 as part of Microsoft's recent Brexit-related price increases.
This latest deal will continue until March 21 - but given Microsoft's penchant for extending its "limited time offers", there's really no knowing when this deal will really end.
