Microsoft launched its Office 2016 for Mac Preview back in March, rolling out quite a significant update for the productivity suite just a few weeks later. The company has now released a further update, although it's not quite as comprehensive as the last one.
Indeed, the main focus of this latest update is on fixing various issues across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote on Apple PCs, although there are a couple of very minor new feature additions.
Microsoft's release notes detail what's included in the June 10, 2015 update:
Outlook
- Networking improvements
- Reminder improvements
- Bug fixes
Word
- Mail merge recipient source improvements
- Bug fixes
Excel
- Bug fixes
PowerPoint
- Ruler tab stops
- Ability to modernize legacy media formats
- Bug fixes
OneNote
- Bug fixes
You'll need to be running OS X Yosemite 10.10 or later in order to run the Office 2016 for Mac Preview, but if you've already got the preview installed, you can pick up the latest fixes via Microsoft AutoUpdate on your Mac, or hit the link below for manual download links.
