Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals have served up some decent savings and freebies so far - yesterday, for example, bargain hunters were able to grab up to $500 off a range of hardware from Dell.
It's now the tenth day of Microsoft's festive promotions, and today, it's offering $120 off the Acer Aspire R 11 notebook. Usually priced at $399, it's currently on sale for $279.
As you can probably guess from its price tag, this isn't a flagship-class powerhouse, but it might be well-suited to casual web browsing at home, or perhaps even as a laptop for the kids. Its key specs include:
- 11.6-inch LED-backlit 10-point multitouch display with 1366x768px resolution
- 1.6GHz Intel Pentium N3700 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 500GB hard drive
- 1MP webcam
- Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Miracast-enabled)
- Bluetooth 4.0
- SD card reader
- 1 x USB 3.0 + 1 x USB 2.0
- HDMI-out
- 297.2 x 210.8 x 20.8mm; 1.5kg
- "Up to 8 hours battery life"
The Windows 10 Home notebook also features a 360-degree hinge, allowing the display to open and fold all the way over, effectively turning the device into a (fairly thick and heavy) tablet.
As with the other 12 Days of Deals, this one will only be available in the US through to the end of today, or while stocks last.
