Last week, we reported that Microsoft would be reviving its IntelliMouse, reintroducing it as the Microsoft Classic IntelliMouse. While we didn't have many details about it then, it now appears to have popped up on the Microsoft Store, ready for purchase.
On the product page, Microsoft touts that this is a "legend reborn" and has a short blurb describing the mouse, its history, and also its features, which can be read below.
"Inspired by the Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0, the Microsoft Classic IntelliMouse brings back the classic, wired mouse with modern-day improvements. It has all the features you loved from the original—from customizable buttons and classic ergonomic look and feel to the wired-USB connection. And with more precise tracking, buttons that feel more reliable, and a distinctive, modern white tail light, this new take on a classic mouse keeps up with your hectic workload."
So what are its other specifications? The mouse features Microsoft BlueTrack Technology that will allow it work on most surfaces including glass, and will have and fixed imaging rate of 3,000 frames per second. The Microsoft Classic IntelliMouse is now available in the United States for $39.99.
