It's been seven months since Microsoft unveiled two new lower-mid-range handsets, the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. Both of these handsets impressed us considerably - the smaller 640 especially so, given that it offers a remarkably complete smartphone experience at a fraction of the cost of many flagships.
When the Lumia 640 debuted in the US in May on Cricket Wireless, it was priced at just $129.99 off-contract, but it was quickly undercut by AT&T, which is still selling the device for just $79.99. Now, though, the 640 is available at what may be its lowest price ever.
Best Buy is currently selling the handset for just $59.99 with no contract obligation. However, the device itself is locked to AT&T, and is only available at that price in black.
If you're thinking of buying the Lumia 640, be sure to check out our detailed review of the device first - but bear in mind that at that price, the remaining stock may not last very long.
