A new video that was shown off during the Windows Phone 8 keynote has been put up on YouTube that describes the company's branding strategy that it will use to sell Windows Phone 8 to consumers. The idea is all about making your phone personal to you and your needs, rather than making a phone and OS that are a blanket statement for everyone.
The idea is that you can take what Microsoft has created, match it up with a phone that fits your needs and then customize the OS so that it aligns exactly to your daily routine. The branding is a clever step for Microsoft as all other vendors highlight how to use their devices but Microsoft is highlighting how your device can be tailored to you.
Take a look at the video above and let us know if you agree or disagree with Microsoft's branding strategy. The video is certainly catchy and we will be curious to see if this video ends up being a WP8 advertisement as it is exactly 1:00 in length.
