Microsoft's Surface Duo has been on the market for less than a month, as it arrived on September 10. As is typical for any Surface product, it got a day-one firmware update, but today, it's getting its first post-release firmware update.
This update, which is version 2020.910.72, is only available for the unlocked variant of the device, unlike with the day-one update. According to Microsoft, it should be coming to the AT&T model soon.
As you'd expect, it includes various fixes and improvements, and it has the October 2020 Android security update. Here's the full changelog:

As you can see, there's very little in the changelog as far as specifics go. You can bet that a lot of the fixes have to do with user complaints though. Microsoft definitely read the early reviews and is working on refining the experience.
If you're not seeing this update, you should be getting it soon. The company will be releasing monthly updates, at least for now.
