With the launch of its newest Surface Pro 4 tablet, Microsoft's older Surface Pro 3 is on the way out. Deep discounts have been been available on the last-gen device in recent weeks, including in the UK, where the Microsoft Store has been selling it with up to £240 off its regular price, depending on which model you choose.
Now, the company has extended its discount even further on one particular model in the range. If you buy the Surface Pro 3 with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage, you'll only pay £809 - that's £270 off the full list price of £1,079.
Discounts remain available on the other Pro 3 models, including £220 off the Core i5/4GB/128GB and i7/8GB/512GB variants; and £240 off the i7/8GB/256GB model. However, the entry-level i3/4GB/64GB Pro 3, priced at £549, is no longer available.
Additionally, the Microsoft Store is currently offering 25% off its Type Covers for the Surface Pro 3 - but remaining stocks of the keyboard accessory appear to be dwindling, as the black version is already out of stock, and the light and dark blue versions are no longer listed at all.
The discounts on the Pro 3 tablet will remain available until January 6, 2016, or "while supplies last".
