Today, Microsoft is rolling out a series of firmware and driver updates for the Surface Pro 4, which mainly focus on the device's cameras. The company is still updating the nearly two-year-old device pretty frequently, with a Windows Hello fix arriving less than a month ago, and a suite of updates - that broke Windows Hello - a couple of weeks before.
Unfortunately, the company hasn't yet published a changelog in the Surface Pro 4 Update History, which isn't at all surprising. It's unclear why Microsoft has trouble with publishing release notes at the same time that an update is released, but it rarely happens.
Here's the list of updates available (via Windows Central):
Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft IR Camera Front.
Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Front
Intel driver update for Intel(R) AVStream Camera 2500
Intel driver update for Intel(R) Imaging Signal Processor 2500
Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) CSI2 Host Controller
Surface - System 8/1/2017 12:00:00 AM - 1.0.85.1
Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Control Logic
Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Rear
Since it's Friday, it's possible that we might not see the actual release notes until next week. Of course, we'll keep you updated when they're made available.
