It seems like every day that another game publisher comes out with its Q2 earnings report, and every one seems to tell a similar tale; lower than forecasted earnings and increased expenses. The latest to be bitten by the losses bug is Midway, whose marquee games on Q2 Area 51 and Unreal Championship 2 saw lower than forecasted sales and subsequently dropped net revenues from $47.3 million in Q2 of 2004 to $36.9 million this quarter. Net losses totaled $29.9 million. The report also decreased Midway's expected annual sales from $225 million to $200 million.
