Midway Games has filed a lawsuit against Sony Ericsson for the unauthorized use and distribution of the Defender game, GameSpot reported today. According to the charges, Sony Ericsson was never granted permission to distribute Defender software that Midway retains the copyrights for.
The lawsuit, filed on June 24th, claims severe damage to Midway's business and property, seeking monetary compensation for both damages and legal fees. The charges also demand that Ericsson forfeit all mobile phones and software relevant to the case.
