Towards the end of May, the creator of wildly popular sandbox video game Minecraft, Mojang Studios, detailed two DLC packs for its recently released spin-off title Minecraft Dungeons. The names of these added content for the game were revealed to be Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter with the former featuring a jungle theme and the latter a frozen landscape setting.
At the time it was announced, Majong had disclosed a July 2020 release time slot for Jungle Awakens. Today the video game developer assigned an exact date of July 1, 2020, for the upcoming Minecraft Dungeons expansion pack.

According to the official blog post, Jungle Awakens will add a lot more greenery such as shrubbery, vines, and foliage to the Minecraft spin-off. It will also feature new items, weapons, armors, artifacts, mobs, three story missions, and a free update which also includes new items, the Lost Temple dungeon and some more changes to balance the game.
As revealed previously, players who purchased the Hero Edition of Minecraft Dungeons will get Jungle Awakens as well as the next DLC planned for the game, Creeping Winter, at no additional cost when they come out.
Set in the Minecraft universe, the latest dungeon crawler title from Mojang, Minecraft Dungeons, is available on multiple platforms including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It is also included in the Xbox Games Pass catalogue of games.
