In July, Microsoft finally migrated Minecraft from Amazon Web Services to Azure, after six years of relying on the former platform. Then, last week the Redmond giant launched Minecraft: Education Edition to Chromebooks. Following the technical changes, a more content-oriented update has now arrived to Mojang Studios' popular title in the form of a new Jurassic World DLC.
Players who download the newest expansion will get to experience the job of managing a luxury resort, working toward crafting and training various dinosaurs, building exhibits, and more. Discovery expeditions that focus on the search for different dinosaurs' DNA will be provided as well. A variety of vehicles and NPCs can be utilized by the player to assist them in these tasks.
The world will feature over 60 dinosaurs, including popular ones from the Jurassic World movies' trilogy such as the T-Rex and the Velociraptor, and 21 skins. The former will be featuring hybrids, while a free Character Creator item that will be available to all, the rare Blue Hoodie, has been released as well.
The Jurassic World DLC is available to download via the Minecraft Marketplace here, though it will require 1340 Minecraft coins to unlock.
