Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two continues Aug 15, Switch owners finally get Season One

Today, Telltale Games announced that the second episode of Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two, entitled Giant Consequences, will be making its debut on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, and PC on August 15.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two is an episodic adventure that follows the story of protagonist Jesse. In the first episode, Jesse begins a new adventure after riding the high from the previous season of becoming a famous hero.

The second episode in the new series will see players continuing with Jesse. The Telltale Episode Two description is as follows:

Jesse and the gang survived the Sea Temple, but they brought home a little more than they bargained for: a lost adventurer, a powerful device, and a colossal enemy capable of grinding Beacontown to dust. There may be more to this fearsome foe than meets the eye, but to find out, Jesse -- together with a few trusty friends -- must embark on another adventure, this time into the icy unknown...

The second season will offer five episodes. and players will have access to a unique 'Crowd Play' feature. This feature is aimed at multiplayer fun which allows friends and family to engage in the adventure and decide how the story will unfold, from any supported mobile device.

The firm has also announced that Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure will arrive on the Nintendo Switch for those in the North America on August 22, and in Europe and other regions on August 25. The game will be available as a physical release and also a digital download. The Complete Adventure will include all eight episodes from the first season.
