A minor Dashboard update has begun rolling out to Xbox 360 owners, bumping the version up to 2.0.16203.0 and bringing no major changes. As the version number increase is so small, it's likely that the update only encompasses assorted bug fixes and security updates, with no visible changes being noted once we upgraded one of our consoles. Microsoft are yet to specify what the update is addressing.
Today's update is the second minor Dashboard update for the Xbox 360 following the Fall 2012 update that added Internet Explorer to the console, with the previous update addressing SmartGlass issues. It doesn't appear as though this update affects those who use security circumvention methods to play pirated games on the Xbox 360, and this isn't too surprising with the Xbox team likely focusing all their efforts on the next Xbox and its anti-piracy measures.
