The Assassin's Creed universe recently made an incursion into the world of For Honor, but Ubisoft isn't stopping at crossovers with just its own IPs. In a surprise announcement, Capcom revealed a new Monster Hunter: World and Assassin's Creed collaboration event today, available right now on console platforms.
The event quest runs from now through January 10, 2019 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, available with the name "SDF: Silent, Deadly, and Fierce." As usual, the update is lagging behind on the PC version, with Capcom only saying that the event will arrive for the platform "at a later date."
Players can earn the Bayek Layered Armor as one of the quest rewards, letting them take the appearance of the Assassin's Creed Origins protagonist. The classic Assassin's Hood is also achievable as a new mantle, which grants players additional stealth damage as well as a speed boost. A special item called "Senu’s Feather" is also a part of the rewards list.
Don't forget that a much bigger crossover event is coming to Monster Hunter: World early next year, with The Witcher series' Geralt of Rivia slated to appear with special questlines and more.
