It seems like phones with foldable displays are just around the corner. But if this concept from Lenovo is any indication, it could be quite sometime before the company releases a product that will get consumers excited. Luckily, it looks like the firm has done a much better job when it comes to products in the pipeline, implementing a design on its upcoming Z5 Pro, that will allow it to maximize the front real estate with a nearly bezel-less display.
Although we have seen this phone teased before, we are now getting word that Lenovo will, at the very least, make a formal announcement about the device at an event in October. The news came during a Lenovo event that took place in China, where Liu Jun, who is Lenovo's vice president, took to the stage to show off the phone for a brief moment. However, he did not slide open the phone while on stage. Not to keep things in the dark, another Lenovo vice president would later clarify on Weibo that more details about the phone would be made available on October 1.
