Almost a month ago, we reported that Alcatel was working on the Idol Pro 4 as their Windows 10 Mobile "superphone". Today, more details are emerging.
NokiaPowerUser has reported that in addition to Snapdragon 820, the Idol Pro 4 will feature 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, a 22 MP rear camera, and a 10 MP front camera. The original report said that it would use a 1080p display, but it would appear that this may be changed to 1440p.
The device is said to have "enhanced Continuum", although there's no word right now on exactly what that is. It's also slated to ship with Redstone 1, which we're expecting to include better Continuum features, such as windowed apps.
With a Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, and a possible 1440p display, the device is specced similarly to HP's business offering, the Elite x3. While the Idol Pro 4 will certainly have better retail support, likely coming to T-Mobile, hopefully it will also have a better camera, as the Elite x3 seems to have a camera offering that's comparable to mid-range devices.
