With the hype over E3 still continuing, we've got a number of details from numerous gaming studios and publishing companies of what's coming up in the next year for the gaming industry. What we've found out though in regards to Battlefield 3 in which many gamers are anticipating, is that the release date is the 25th of October 2011 for all platforms. Details also released show that there are plans to also release a multi-platform beta in September, with the confirmed platforms being the PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and WiiU.
Along with this information, EA has released two new trailers for the gaming, highlighting some of the benefits of using the Frostbite 2.0 engine and some footage of multiplayer gameplay.
One interesting fact which was picked up at Arstechnica is that on one of the E3 factsheets, EA games have stated that gamers will have the ability to "express their individuality" by being able to design their own dog tag which would display to enemies when they're killed. It also mentioned that tracked information would be added to the item to "express their personality and play-style".
Many have become excited for the game as EA started a strong marketing campaign by releasing a series of three trailers totaling 12 minutes that shows some impressive enhances from previously Battlefield releases.
