Apple will announce the iPhone 7 until September 7, but that doesn't mean that we know everything about it just yet. As it turns out, new rumors are still emerging, and this one refreshes an old one.
One of the things that we're quite confident about in Apple's next handset is that it will not be much of a redesign, deviating from the company's usual two-year cycle. Because of this, one thing that you can probably count on is a new color, as the firm has done with both the iPhone 5s and 6s/6s Plus with gold and rose gold, respectively.
Judging by a photo from Macotakara that shows alleged SIM trays from the upcoming devices, this year's new color will be Space Black. According to a rumor back in June, Apple will be ditching Space Gray in favor of this new color.
The image, however, seems to show it as an addition to the four colors that Apple already sells. You can see the Space Black tray on the far left, followed by what appears to be silver, Space Gray, rose gold, and gold.
There is, of course, no way to confirm the validity of these images, as there are quite a few phones that would use very similar SIM trays to an iPhone. We won't know anything for sure until September 7, so if you're hankering for a new color of iPhone, hold tight, as you'll know more soon.
