The next generation of Moto G was seen listed by Flipkart yesterday, before being pulled by the retailer hours later.
Motorola launched the current Moto G smartphone in September during the IFA conference in Germany, but this year's version of the device might come out sooner than that if the accidental listing from Flipkart is of any indication.
Although the image itself does not reveal anything more than the fact that the device might be launching soon, we also have some leaked specifications from the report by Gadgetraid. The smartphone will allegedly be a significant update to the second generation Moto G, which itself wasn't that major in comparison with the 2013 Moto G.
The leaked specifications of the device include a Snapdragon 610 quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and a 5-inch (or 5.2-inch) display with a 1080p resolution. The listed device was 8 GB, but there might be a 16 GB version as well, similar to the first generation device. It has also been revealed that the new Moto G will feature 4G, which means there won't be two different variants.
Currently, we do not know about Motorola's launch plans but the internet has been buzzing with rumors of the next Moto X and Moto 360 as well, which leads us to believe a major event could be in the offing.
