Last week Motorola India posted a teaser of an enhanced version of the Moto X4 and now the company has confirmed that the device is headed to Flipkart and its offline Moto Hub stores starting February 1 in India.
The faster and smarter features that are included in the device are indeed the 6GB RAM and the Android Oreo upgrade out-of-the-box. The listed price of the device on Flipkart is ₹24,999 ($392) and the device will be sold starting from midnight on February 1 through the online retailer, teamed with various offers. Since online and offline prices tend to be different in India, this pricing may vary on Flipkart and the Moto Hubs.
Apart from the memory bump, the specifications of the smartphone are identical to the Moto X4 launched two months ago. The device includes a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, there's a Snapdragon 630 processor, a 12MP + 8MP dual rear camera, a 16MP front camera, a 3,000 mAh battery, and IP68 water and dust protection.
The device had scored highly in our review last month. You can check out the first impressions and the review here. With the upgraded 6GB of RAM, the smartphone should be even better than before, but the launch does seem peculiar as the Moto X5 has already leaked.
