Back in April, I got to review the Motorola Edge+, which heralded the company's return into the flagship space. Announced at the same time, however, was the Edge, and if nothing else makes this device interesting, it's that it's unlocked while the Edge+ is yet another Verizon exclusive from the Lenovo-owned Motorola.
But of course, that's not all that makes it interesting. It has the same 90Hz OLED display with waterfall edges that the Edge+ had, and that's a solid start. It also comes with a Snapdragon 765 chipset, and a 64-megapixel main camera. It even has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Edge also packs the fun features that come along with the Moto app, such as Peek Display and new ones like Edge Lighting. As always, the Moto app keeps the Android experience nearly stock, so you get a clean software experience.
What's cool about the Edge, and all Snapdragon 765 phones, is the price. This device costs $699, and if you get it now, it's actually on sale for $499. Check out the unboxing video below:
