Motorola One Macro debuts in India with Helio P70, goes on sale October 12

After unveiling the One Zoom handset last month, Motorola has further expanded its One family of mobile devices with the debut of the Motorola One Macro today. The new smartphone will become available first in India before it hits global release (via GSMArena).

Just like the previous handsets under the One lineup such as the One Vision and One Action, the Motorola One Macro has one unique feature: its macro lens. It has a triple camera setup on the back that has a 2MP dedicated macro with an aperture of f2.2. Its main sensor is 13MP complemented by a 2MP depth sensor.

For video recording, the One Macro's camera can capture motion at 60fps with a 1080p resolution. It also records at 120fps for slow-motion video. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie snapper.

The One Macro sports a 6.2-inch LCD display with a 720 x 1,520 resolution and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via a hybrid card slot.

It includes a 4,000mAh battery that charges through a USB-C port and the phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The One Macro will go on sale for ₹9,999 ($140) on October 12 exclusively via Flipkart. It will come in a Space Blue color. It's expected to arrive in the U.S. and Europe on October 24.
