Motorola is finally doing it. As the company promised it would do back in December, it's making another flagship smartphone. The device is going to be launched at what the Lenovo-owned company is calling an E-vent, meaning a virtual event. The E-vent will be held on April 22 at 11am CDT, and that's about all we know.

The six-second video doesn't show much except for the corner of a device that seems to have a display with waterfall edges. Other than that, it's just marbles rolling around and rocks breaking.
It's been a while since we've seen a flagship smartphone from Motorola. The last one was the Moto Z2 Force, which was launched back in mid-2017. Since then, the firm has been mainly focused at providing affordable 5G experiences. The Moto Z3 was nearly identical to the Z2 Force, with a Snapdragon 835, but it was launched alongside the 5G Moto Mod. The Moto Z4 that launched last year was decidedly mid-range.
Motorola is committed to using both the Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 865 in its handsets this year, so you can expect that whatever gets announced next week, it will be a 5G device.
