JAKKS Pacific has entered into a three-year licensing agreement with Namco to develop TV Games featuring the developer's classic arcade titles.
Following yesterday's announcement that it will release TV Games featuring Spider-Man later this year, JAKKS Pacific today announced that it has entered into a three-year agreement with Namco to develop TV Games featuring a number of the developer's classic arcade titles. Ms. Pac-Man TV Games is expected to debut at the International Toy Fair later this month, and will offer players five classic titles for around $20. "Based on the success of the first Namco release, we hope to have equal, if not more, rewarding results from the Ms. Pac-Man TV Games release," said Stephen Berman, president and COO, JAKKS Pacific. "Ms. Pac-Man is one of the most popular arcade titles of all time, and will be a big draw for gaming fans, as will Pole Position, Galaga, and the other Namco classics."
