Twisted Pixel is bringing one of its offbeat games over to other platforms. The company announced today that Ms. Splosion Man, first released in 2011 for Xbox Live Arcade, is also being made for the PC (via both Steam and Games for Windows Live) along with Windows Phone, iPhone and iPad platforms.
If you are not familiar with the game, Ms. Splosion Man is the side scrolling sequel to Twisted Pixel's 2009 game Splosion Man. The title character has to solve puzzles, move through levels and defeat traps by, well, exploding.
Twisted Pixel is bringing in other game development teams to work on these various ports, including Iron Galaxy, Fire Hose and Panic Button. The PC version will have 50 single player levels along with 50 co-op levels. The co-op missions will support up to four players both online and via local network. The PC port will also have other features like ghost replays, achievements, unlockable gameplay modes and more.
The iPhone and iPad ports will be made especially for those devices with some new features, and gameplay modes. Twisted Pixel also says that there will be a lot of post-release content for these new versions of Ms. Splosion Man. Pricing for these games has yet to be announced but they should be released sometime this summer.
