On the heels of Intel's 10th-generation mobile processor announcement from the Comet Lake family, MSI is unveiling new laptops that use the new CPUs. The trio of laptops include the Prestige 14, Prestige 15, and Modern 14.
MSI says that the new laptops offer up to 40% better photo editing and rendering speeds, due to the Core i7-10710U that's offered. The CPU is the first hexa-core processor from the U-series. All of the new laptops offer dedicated graphics as well, in the form of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design in the Prestige models and an Nvidia GeForce MX250 in the Modern 14.
Both of the new Prestige laptops offer a 90% screen-to-body ratio, along with an option for a 4K display. They come in a sandblasted aluminum body that weighs in at 2.84 pounds and 3.64 pounds for the 14- and 15-inch models, and according to MSI, you'll get 14 and 16 hours of battery life, respectively.
The Modern 14 weighs in at 2.64 pounds, with a metallic Carbon Gray body. MSI is promising up to 10 hours of battery life on that one, with its Full HD display.
MSI didn't provide pricing on its new laptops, but pre-orders will kick off on Newegg today. They'll be available from Adorama, Amazon, B&H, and Newegg.
