It was during CES 2018 that MSI debuted two new 27-inch monitors, the Optix MPG27C and Optix MPG27CQ. Now, the firm has made both available for purchase at various retail outlets.
If unfamiliar, the models will carry similar exterior looks but will offer different resolutions, with the MPG27C being 1080p version and the MPG27CQ being a 1440p model. Each will have a refresh rate of 144Hz and will also have a 1ms response time. The monitors will use VA panels with a 1800R curve. You can see the full details of the monitors in the image down below.
What makes these monitors unique however is the partnership between MSI and SteelSeries, that will integrate LEDs in the front panel, that can be configured with GameSense. GameSense allows users to see notifications through customizable RGB LED lighting.
If interested in these monitors, MSI has now announced that they will be making their way to various retailers. At the moment it looks like Amazon is the only one stocking it, but it should become available from retailers like Newegg, Fry’s, and Best Buy shortly.
