Hi all,
Well I finally got there. Im proud to annouce this is my 3001 news post for Neowin!
Thats 3000 news posts (main, software & games), not including any that got lost or before the current CMS. I've been here since late 2000, and its been fun, going from newsposter to admin. When I started out no one knew Neowin.net but over the years I've seen our popularity grow. Our membership expand & broaden.
We've grown from a relatively obscure windows community to become among the biggest & most comprehensive Windows Community Website. But more than that. We are now a real community. We have gone from a handful of members to 45,000+
And finally to all you lot (for putting up with me ), the companies & PR peeps especially MS and any other person I have come across. I hope I have made your windows experience a little better, a little happier. But most of all I hope everyone has, and will continue to enjoy the news I post. Because I wouldn't swap this job for all th tea in China.
But most of all, I have to thank my wife (Stella) and our children for putting up with the endless hours I spend here. Without them it would just be another statistic.
