Yes, it's amazing! Invision Power Services have upgraded our Dual P4 setup to a quad Xeon setup or more specifically 4 x 2.0GHz P4 Xeon (2mb Cache) It's a Dell server which also houses 2 x 73GB SCSI harddisks and more importantly our bandwidth has also been upgraded to accommodate 1 Terabyte per month (Neowin used 800GB last month).
This means we are on our 3rd server since being hosted by IPS in November 2002. We have gone from a Celeron 1.2GHz to be hosted on a Quad Xeon server, this wouldn't have been achieved without their great support and yours.
The DNS should be updated by now as the move took place around 12 hours ago, but for some it will remain a bit laggy till your ISP updates, this means people whose DNS has not yet updated will be on the old server but the old server uses the new servers SQL database which has to make the remote connection. So for some it will be a bit slow. You can tell which server you are on by clicking here
I want to give a big hand to Charles, Matt and everyone who supports Neowin :)
Update Now that the old server's bandwidth is 0, we're going to turn the old server off. If anyone has switching related problems (ONLY) please email us: admin@neowin.net. Thanks again to IPS.
