Networking equipment sales for most European resellers were below expectations in the fourth quarter of 2002, according to research from Global Touch. Its latest networking Channel Tracker report, focusing on sales in the period from 1 October to 30 December, found that 64 per cent of European resellers reported lower than expected sales.
"This is not a surprise because the European market has been declining for the last four quarters," said Denise Sangster, chief executive of Global Touch.
In the third quarter of 2002, 71 per cent of European resellers said sales were below expectations.
