A new build of Windows 10 for phones is just a couple of hours away, excitement is at its peak as people ready their supported devices for the latest update to the Technical Preview. The update is rumored to bring a new task switcher with four cards on one tab, an outlook calendar and some other major UI changes.
While the the update isn't out yet, several more images have leaked onto the web. The images are not screenshots like the previous ones and the quality is rather poor but they do seem to confirm yesterday's leaked images. The same multi-tasking screen can be seen which can be swiped across to view other apps which are running at the same time. There is a new icon for the people hub as well, but it's unclear if there will be any major changes inside the app itself.
The images also show off Microsoft's new browser, Spartan. While the images are not in high quality, the design with the address bar at the top can clearly be seen. The messaging app appears to have been redesigned as well. The outlook calendar and outlook email apps can be seen in an image too but since the device's language is Chinese, it's rather difficult to decipher.
According to the images revealed yesterday, the new OS now assigns drive letters to external storage devices, meaning that when Windows 10 launches your handsets may be able to support additional external storage devices, not just MicroSD cards.
Have a look at the gallery below and let us know if we've missed any design changes or UI tweaks.
